If necessary, the sewing is done in our subsidiary’s own sewing department in Kaunas, Lithuania, or in our own sewing department in Lapua. The product finishing is done in our finishing plant in Lapua, Finland.

100% merino wool

Made of 100 % wool – soft and airy merino wool. Lapuan Kankurit buy their yarn only from the best spinning mills, mainly in the EU region. The warp yarn is spun from South American merino fibre and the weft yarn from South African merino wool fibre. The wool used is mulesing-free: Lapuan Kankurit only work with responsible and certified suppliers. All yarns are dyed according to REACH regulations, and they meet the requirements of the OEKO-TEX certificate.

Remember that it is often enough to simply air out the wool to clean it.
