Designer Akira Minagawa
100 % wool cover with the weft yarn of Lapuan Kankurits own. The yarn is spun from the wool fibres of Finnsheep and Finnsheep crossbreeds, which they have obtained from the local farms in Finland, as well as from certified Wool Integrity NZ fibre. The wool’s beautiful blue colour is obtained from locally grown woad – it is dyed with plant dyes in Lappajärvi, Finland. The warp yarn is made of certified South American wool fibre. All yarns are spun in the EU area and are mulesing-free wool.
The hot water bottle is made by the well-known German company Fashy GmbH from odourless, non-fading and recyclable thermoplastic. The hanging hook and stopper of the bottle are made of polypropylene. A hot water bottle can be sterilised by steaming. It complies with the British Standard BS1970:2012, is tested by TÜV Süd, is marked with the CE marking and falls under the Directive 93/42/ECC of 1993 on medical devices.
