Material & care
100 % wool textile with the weft yarn of our own. The yarn is spun from the wool fibres of Finnsheep and Finnsheep crossbreeds, which we have obtained from the local farms in Finland, as well as from certified Wool Integrity NZ fibre. All yarns are spun and dyed in the EU area and are mulesing-free wool. The natural-coloured yarns are made of brown, black and white sheep’s wool by melangeing. Nature is the most skilled dyer we know!
Origin
Preserving and developing Finnish textile tradition is important to us, which is why Lapuan Kankurit started collecting local wool from Finnish sheep farms for industrial use. A key motivation for the project was that a large portion of the wool had previously gone to waste. The brand also rebuilt the production chain that had disappeared from Finland. Now Lapuan Kankurit control the entire wool production process and engage in unique product development while passing on the expertise to future generations. The product design, material purchases, loom programming and warping as well as the pre-work stages, weaving and fabric inspection are done in our brand´s own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. If necessary, the sewing is done in their subsidiary’s own sewing department in Kaunas, Lithuania, or in their own sewing department in Lapua. The product wadding, drying and tuft finishing is done in our finishing plant in Lapua, Finland.

DELIVERY

Flat 5 EUR delivery fee on all orders in Eu. For orders with value over EUR 150, the shipping will be free.

During Sales or Private Sales flat 5 EUR delivery fee is applied.

Please note that we do not deliver to PO Boxes. Please note that if you live overseas and the outer packaging of your product arrives slightly damaged it is more than likely to be because customs officials often open up packages to inspect the contents to ensure that the correct duty is being applied to the package. They usually do not tape these back up very well! The product(s) themselves should not be tampered with; they should remain in their individual packaging and all sealed up.

Flat 20 EUR delivery fee for orders from outside of Europe. For orders with value over EUR 250, the shipping is free.

Please note that our shipping costs outside of Europe do not include any fees or costs associated with import or customs fees. Each country has different rules for import and custom fees so we advise you to check the regulations of your country with regards to any additional costs you might be asked to pay.

If you have a quality problem with your purchase, you can send it back within 14 working days of receipt subject to the following conditions:

-the product has not been used, manipulated or damaged
-the product must be sent back with its original packaging

We will refund you the cost of the product primary as STORE CREDIT. The credited amount exclude all shipping costs and duty.

Colour, firmness and surface appearance of the leather products may vary because it is a natural material. Therefore these are not considered defects. We do not accept any of the above as claims.
