Care:
Wash the new textile separately before use at 60°C in plenty of water. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. We recommend a small amount of neutral washing powder. Avoid softener and bleach. Normal spin cycle. Do not tumble dry. Linen fibres may come off the product during the wash. Check the lint filter before and after washing. Iron the textile with linen settings. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing.

Washed 43% Tencel, 39% linen, Masters of Linen and 18% cotton

Made of comfortable and breathable natural fibres: flax, Tencel and cotton. The warp is made of Tencel Lyocell and cotton fibre and the weft is made of linen yarn. Our linen, grown with the power of rainwater in Central Europe, is 100 % traceable and Masters of Linen–certified. Tencel is a European invention, a responsibly produced wood pulp fibre. Its production is FSC–certified which guarantees that the wood used as raw material in the production is responsibly sourced.

The yarns have been spun and dyed in the EU area according to the REACH regulations.

Lapuan Kankurit want to be responsible for the production of their products themselves, starting from the yarn all the way to the finished product. This is why the most significant part of the production is done in their own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.

The product design, material purchases, loom programming and warping as well as the pre-work stages, weaving and fabric inspection are done in their own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. The sewing is done at the subsidiary’s own sewing department in Kaunas, Lithuania, or in their own sewing department in Lapua. The product finishing is done in finishing plant in Lapua, Finland
