The HALAUS scarf is made from easy-care 100% washed linen. Naturally and beautifully crinkled, linen is a relaxed yet stylish material. The HALAUS linen scarf is comfortably lightweight.

A linen scarf makes a wonderful gift! It can also be hung in a window as a narrow panel curtain or used as a privacy screen for a slim window.

Care:
Wash the new textile separately before use at 60°C in plenty of water. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. We recommend a small amount of neutral washing powder. Avoid softener and bleach. Normal spin cycle. Do not tumble dry. Linen fibres may come off the product during the wash. Check the lint filter before and after washing. Iron the textile with linen settings. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing.

100% washed linen, Masters of Linen

Masters of Linen–certified 100 % linen yarn for both the warp and weft, spun from fully traceable long staple flax. We love flax as a material, for it is a durable, comfortable and environmentally friendly fibre.

The flax grows with the power of rainwater in the temperate climate of central Europe, needing no irrigation. The yarns have been spun and dyed in the EU area according to the REACH regulations.

The most significant part of the production is done by the fourth generation of weavers in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. We want to be responsible for the production of our products ourselves, starting from the yarn all the way to the finished product.

The product design, material purchases, loom programming and warping as well as the pre-work stages, weaving and fabric inspection are done in the brands own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. The sewing is done in our subsidiary’s own sewing department in Kaunas, Lithuania, or in at the sewing department in Lapua. The product finishing is done in Lapuan Kankurit finishing plant in Lapua, Finland.
